Placement Exam
All students are required to take a placement exam as part of the enrollment process. The placement exam is used as a diagnostic tool to ensure students are placed in the appropriate section of each discipline, and to help identify areas of academic strengths and opportunities for growth. (An optional Latin placement exam is offered to students who have previously taken Latin.)
We administer the Classic Learning Test 8 as our placement exam for incoming freshmen. The placement exam covers:
Verbal reasoning skills
Grammar and writing skills
Quantitative reasoning skills
More information and preparing for the CLT may be found on their website. We will have two test dates. The test dates are scheduled with the location TBD.
