Chesterton Academy  of the Immaculata has been approved as a new  Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Boston.

 Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata to open in the fall of 2025

 Boston, MA — August 16, 2024  — Chesterton Academy  of the Immaculata has been approved as a new  Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Boston.

 On the Feast of the Transfiguration, Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Séan O’Malley, signed a canonical  decree approving Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata as an independent Catholic high school in the  Archdiocese of Boston. The co-ed classical high school is scheduled to open in the MetroWest Boston  area in the fall of 2025 and is accepting applications beginning this October.

  “We are deeply honored by this recognition from our Archbishop,” said Nathalie Calvo, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Chesterton. “Our mission, under the patronage of our Blessed Mother, the  Immaculata, is to provide an affordable Catholic education that supports parents in raising their children  as joyful leaders and future saints. Our rigorous classical curriculum is faithful to the Magisterium and  designed to encourage students to deepen their relationship with Christ through the pursuit of Truth,  Goodness and Beauty.”

 Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata is a member of the Chesterton School Network, the fastest  growing network of Catholic schools in the country, with more than 60 schools in operation. This will be  the first Chesterton school in Massachusetts and second in New England, with Chesterton Academy of  Our Lady of Hope in Rhode Island having just completed its inaugural year.

 Named for the great English convert and prolific writer Gilbert Keith Chesterton, Chesterton schools  combine  a broad liberal arts and content-rich education with a strong emphasis on the development of  Christian values. Its integrated curriculum focuses on students’ intellect, character, and spirituality, with  the Catholic faith interwoven throughout all aspects of school life, including daily mass.
